I've learned through many years of experience how to make everyone look their very best in front of the lens (how you and I see the world is NOT the same as how the camera sees the world). My unique approach blends technical skill with an eye for the unexpected, allowing me to capture both the grandeur of your wedding and the intimate moments often missed. It's not just about 'getting the shot'; it's about telling a cohesive, compelling story that you'll treasure for a lifetime.
When we decided what we were looking for in our wedding photographer, we really only had two criteria. The first being that they had to know Canmore in order to get the most out of our mountain wedding. The second being that we wanted someone who could shoot the Cornerstone Theatre, as we noticed the lighting could be difficult. A quick Google search and an email lead to our first meeting with Kevan. It only took a few minutes on Skype and we knew we had our guy. Not only is Kevan an amazing photographer but we had an instant connection.
Kevan set us up with unique photo locations and made intuitive, important game-time decisions with the constant changes in weather. A spring wedding in a snowstorm could have phased even the most laid-back couples, but his confidence put us at ease!
The biggest compliment that we could pay Kevan is that he was able to capture the emotion and feeling of our special day with every photo he took.
